Ever wonder how to license your inventor concept to a top toy company, or how to merge your toy or app with a top children's IP? With over 40+ years combined experience in partnership, brand and product development and innovation, WIT Wonder Women Award recipients, Patty Jackson, Founder and President of PB&J Marketing, and Caitlin Gutekunst, Director of Digital Content at StartApp will share best practices for licensing IP across different medium today.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS:

Patty Jackson has over 25 years of experience leading product development and marketing teams in toys, youth electronics, electronic learning aids and sports products generating more than 2 billion in retail sales. She held senior positions at Hasbro, Tiger Electronics, and Zizzle, LLC. Patty has a successful track record of growing businesses by leveraging strategic insights, identifying growth drivers, and bringing innovation to established consumer segments. For the last six years, Patty has been doing product development, Asia sourcing and strategic consulting for a wide range of companies from start-ups to Fortune 500 Companies. She is also currently working as a coach in the Stanford GSB LEAD Program Design Thinking Courses.

Caitlin Gutekunst has been developing innovative content experiences and partnerships for transmedia brands for over ten years. She started her career in licensing sales for top kids' brands such as Thomas & Friends and Moshi Monsters, but it was her role as head of licensing and business development at LeapFrog that first brought her to the Bay Area. She currently leads the Digital Content team at StartApp, leveraging product innovation and partnerships to help brands find new audiences and revenue across mobile platforms. While her current role has expanded her attention to include older audiences, Caitlin has a special passion for the connected toy space and helping digital-first kids experience great content safely.
