WIT DC Fall Open House
Join us for an exciting evening with Women in Toys, Licensing & Entertainment's DC Chapter as we kick off our first Fall Open House. This event is open to all members and non-members to learn more about WIT and our growing community in the nation's capital. Meet the new WIT DC Chapter leadership team and learn how to get involved.
Hear from featured speaker, Maryann Lombardi, District of Columbia's first Creative Economy Officer housed in the DC Office of Cable TV, Film, Music, and Entertainment, who has been working as a cultural entrepreneur for the past 20 years. With strength in public-private partnerships, strategic planning, and small business management, Lombardi spent the past five years with The George Washington University as the Executive Director of Lisner Auditorium and Partnership Development. Previously she worked with the City of Springfield, MA and UMass Amherst as the Director of Creative Economy, focused on cultural development in Downtown Springfield. Before MA, she spent a decade in New York City producing and directing theater.
